Red Devils Defeat Raiders
The Lower Columbia Red Devils traveled to Puyallup to take on the Pierce Raiders on Saturday, October 19th. The Red Devils defeated the Raider by a score of three goals to one. Saturday's loss drops the Raiders overall season record to 2-11 and 1-8 in west region play.
The Red Devils attacked early, scoring their first goal of the match at the one minute mark. They followed up with another goal at the 12 minute mark which would be the last goal the Red Devils scored in the game. In a defensive attack, the Raiders accidentally knocked the ball into their own net, adding another goal to the Red Devils score. Kameryn Norton added a tally in the Raiders score column with a goal in the 88th minute. Norton headed the ball into the goal on a free kick from Alivia Kehn. Piper Betty was the goalkeeper for the Raiders, recording 8 saves in the match.
UP NEXT: The Raiders will travel to Vancouver on Wednesday, October 23rd to face the Clark College Penguins for the second time this season. The match is set to start at 2:00pm.
