Thunderbirds Defeat Raiders
The visiting Highline Thunderbirds defeated the Pierce Raiders on Saturday, September 28th by a score of 5-1.
Elena Iniguez scored the lone goal for the Raiders, unassisted, in the 62nd minute. Iniguez had two shots on goal in the match, as well as Kaylee Mithun. Piper Betty and Shelby Dirks split time guarding the goal. Betty recorded 8 saves in 11 shots on goal, and Dirks recorded 4 saves in 6 shots on goal.
The Raiders will have another week off before facing Centralia at home on Wednesday, October 9th.
