The Everett Trojans outscored the Raiders 15 run to 3 runs on Saturday, April 13th. The Raiders fell to the Trojans in game one by a score of 10-0, and again in game two with a score of 5-3.
In game one, the Trojans held the Raiders to only four hits in the game. Vivian Watts tallied two hits, including a triple for extra bases, followed by Madison Septon, and Jazlyn Furuya who each had one hit. Jenna Bettge started on the mount for the Raiders, pitching 2.1 innings and facing 23 batters. Bettge struck out eight in her appearance. Abigail Lindenmuth relieved Bettge in the third inning, finishing the game with 2.2 innings and striking out three.
In game two, the Raiders were able to keep the Trojans close with a tie game going into the top of the seventh inning when Everett was able to score two runs to take the lead. The Raiders pieced together five hits in the game. Hana Reynolds led the Raiders with two hits, while Samantha Tungsvik, Elyssa Barnett, and Sidnye Burger each tallied one hit. Vivian Watts started in the circle, pitching all seven innings and sitting down three.
The Raiders will take on Olympic College, tomorrow, Sunday, April 14th in Puyallup, WA.
