Raiders Face Early Challenges at NWAC Friendlies, Fall to Rogue and SW Oregon

Raiders Find First Goal of Season in 4-1 Loss

Pierce College got on the scoreboard for the first time this year but came up short in a 4-1 defeat to Rogue College at the NWAC Friendlies. Rogue opened with two quick goals, scoring in the first two minutes and again at the 20-minute mark. Taiyo Tokuyama answered in the 27th minute, finishing off a pass from Gavin Nail. Rogue responded with goals in the 39th and 57th minutes to seal the result.
The match featured two yellow cards and a red card for Pierce, adding to the challenge of the afternoon.

Raiders Battle Down Players, Fall 2-0 to SW Oregon

Playing with two red cards, Pierce College fought hard but ultimately dropped a 2-0 decision to SW Oregon. Goalkeeper Jake Jenner anchored the defense with seven saves, while Gavin Nail led the offense with two shots on goal. Jack Wallace, Taiyo Tokuyama, and Edgar Soltero each added one shot on target. Both goals for SW Oregon came in the first half.
