Raiders Defeat Titans at Home
The Pierce Raiders men’s basketball team protected home court on Saturday, January 24, earning a 70-58 win over the Tacoma Titans at Pierce.
Pierce set the tone early with strong defensive pressure and controlled the tempo throughout the night. Ishe Kanhukamwe led all scorers with a game-high 22 points while also dishing out five assists to go along with one rebound. Dylan Jay added 13 points, providing a steady offensive presence.
Josiah Gopaul contributed across the stat sheet with nine points, five rebounds, two assists, and four steals, while Mande Wanlemvo was dominant on the glass, finishing with eight points, a massive 19 rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Isaac Norris added nine points, three rebounds, three assists, and a steal, and Jonah Bell chipped in six points and three rebounds.
The Raiders’ defensive intensity and rebounding advantage proved to be the difference as they held Tacoma to 58 points and secured the conference win.
