The Pierce College Raiders secured a 5-3 victory in game three of their four-game series against the Tacoma Titans before falling just short in a 6-5 loss in the series finale.
In the first game of the day, Vayden Lawrence set the tone on the mound, pitching seven solid innings and striking out three. Jackson Burtis closed out the game and earned the win, delivering three scoreless innings with two strikeouts. Offensively, Yacel Limonta kept his bat hot with two hits and an RBI. Kadin Kingsbury contributed with two runs, one hit, two stolen bases, and a walk. Bo Stinson came up big with two doubles, two runs, one RBI, and a stolen base, while Tristan Ringrose added a double and a run scored.
The series finale was a tight battle, with the Raiders ultimately falling 6-5. Andrew Moberly started on the mound, striking out five in three innings, while Jonah Richardson pitched three innings and added two strikeouts. Kadin Kingsbury continued to be a spark for the Raiders, scoring twice, collecting a hit, and swiping three bases. Tristan Ringrose crushed a solo home run, while Cameron Hale had three hits, including a triple. Joel Fernandez delivered at the plate with two doubles and two RBI.
The Raiders now turn their attention to their upcoming series against Grays Harbor. They will host the Chokers for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 5th, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. before traveling to Aberdeen for another doubleheader on Sunday.
