Limonta Lifts Raiders Over Titans to Split Day One of Series

The Pierce College Raiders faced off against the Tacoma Titans in a doubleheader, falling 5-0 in game one before bouncing back with a clutch 3-1 victory in game two.

In the opener, the Raiders' offense struggled to find momentum, managing just five hits in the shutout loss. Tristan Ringrose, Bradley Carl, Jackson Copeland, and Andrew Moberly each contributed at the plate, with Moberly leading the team with two hits. On the mound, Hunter Eisele delivered 5.2 innings of work, striking out three, while Keenan Masters pitched the final three innings, adding one strikeout.

Game two saw the Raiders respond with a strong performance, securing a 3-1 win behind a dominant outing from Cooper Weygandt. The sophomore pitcher threw a complete game, striking out five while keeping the Titans' offense in check. The turning point came in the bottom of the fourth when Yacel Limonta stepped in as the designated hitter with two outs and the bases loaded. After battling to a full count, Limonta crushed a bases-clearing double to deep center field, bringing in all three runs. Bradley Carl and Tristan Ringrose added key contributions with a hit, a stolen base, and a run scored each.
