Raiders Drop Two to Red-Hot Red Devils

The Pierce Raiders dropped both games of a tough doubleheader against the Lower Columbia Red Devils, who swept the four-game series. In game one, the Raiders struggled to find offensive momentum, falling 10-0. Kadin Kingsbury was a bright spot at the plate, collecting two of Pierce’s four hits. Tristan Ringrose and Yacel Limonta each added a hit. On the mound, Jackson Burtis logged 4.1 innings, allowing 8 hits and 3 runs while striking out two. Braden Bedell followed with 2.1 innings, giving up 3 hits and 6 runs.

Game two was a tighter battle, but the Raiders came up just short in a 3-2 loss. Cooper Weygandt turned in a strong performance on the mound, going 6 innings while allowing just 4 hits and striking out five. Offensively, Bo Stinson and Tristan Ringrose each doubled, while Joel Fernandez contributed with a hit, a walk, a sac fly, and a sac bunt
