Raiders Season Ends with Series Loss to Lower Columbia

The Pierce Raiders saw their playoff hopes come to an end as they were swept by the Lower Columbia Red Devils in the final series of the season. Game one was a hard-fought battle, with the Raiders ultimately falling 6-4. Sophomore Kadin Kingsbury provided a highlight with his first career homerun as a Raider — a no-doubt shot over the left field fence. Cameron Hale and Joel Fernandez each added two hits to pace the offense. On the mound, Jonah Richardson wrapped up an impressive season with another strong outing, going 7.2 innings while allowing 10 hits, 3 runs, and no walks, striking out four.

In game two, the Raiders' bats cooled as they struggled to find offensive momentum, managing just four hits in the 9-2 loss. Bo Stinson, Tristan Ringrose, Joel Fernandez, and Bradley Carl each recorded a hit. Andrew Moberly got the start and went 4.1 innings, allowing 4 hits, 5 runs, and 2 walks, while striking out six. The losses bring Pierce’s season to a close with a 20-29 overall record. Despite the outcome, the Raiders showed resilience throughout the season and will look to build on their growth heading into next year.
