Hale’s Grand Slam Propels Raiders to Dominant Win

The Pierce College Raiders baseball team opened their doubleheader against the Clark Penguins with an offensive explosion, taking game one with a dominant 19-4 victory. The Raiders racked up 18 hits, with Bo Stinson, Bradley Carl, Jackson Copeland, and Kadin Kingsbury each recording two-hit performances. Stinson highlighted his day with both a double and a triple. Joel Fernandez, Tristan Ringrose, and Cameron Hale all collected three hits apiece, with Hale crushing a grand slam and Ringrose following it up with a solo home run. Jackson Burtis earned the win on the mound, going 5.2 innings and striking out three.

Game two told a different story, as the Raiders’ bats cooled and Clark responded with a 12-4 win. Pierce managed just five hits in the game, with Ringrose again leading the way with two. Fernandez added a solo home run, while Yacel Limonta chipped in with a hit of his own. Cooper Weygandt started the game, striking out two in his lone inning of work. The Raiders struggled to find rhythm on the mound, using five additional pitchers in the loss.
