Raiders Split Doubleheader with Trailblazers

The Pierce College Raiders opened their series against the Centralia Trailblazers with a hard-fought 4-3 victory in game one, before falling 5-0 in game two. In the opener, Kadin Kingsbury sparked the offense with two runs, one hit, two walks, and two stolen bases. Cameron Hale led the Raiders with four hits and one run scored, while Bo Stinson added a hit and a sac fly. Joel Fernandez and Jackson Copeland each drove in a run. On the mound, Vayden Lawrence tossed 7 solid innings, allowing just four hits and three runs while walking one and striking out two. Jackson Burtis secured the win, throwing two scoreless innings with 2 strikeouts.

In game two, the Raiders struggled to get the offense going, managing just five hits. Hale stayed hot with two more hits, and Copeland, Fernandez, and Bradley Carl each added one. Cooper Weygandt pitched 5.1 innings, striking out 9 while allowing 4 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks. Jason Marshall closed out the game, giving up just one hit and one run over 0.2 innings with one strikeout.
