Raiders Struggle on Day Two of Weekend Series

The Pierce College Raiders baseball team faced a challenging second day in their weekend series, falling to Lane College 13-3 and Edmonds College 12-4.

In the opener against Lane College, Jonah Richardson started on the mound, pitching 4.1 innings and striking out three batters. Offensively, Bowen Stinson contributed with one run, one hit, two walks, and two stolen bases. Bradley Carl added a hit and an RBI, while Cameron Hale recorded a triple and scored a run. Kadin Kingsbury chipped in with a double and a run scored, and Jeb English added a hit and an RBI.

In game two, the Raiders fell to Edmonds College despite some solid offensive efforts. Bowen Stinson scored two runs and drew a walk, while Bradley Carl added one run, one hit, an RBI, and two walks. Cameron Hale drove in two runs with a hit and a sacrifice fly, and Kadin Kingsbury added a hit and an RBI. Freddy Frias-Moreno also contributed with a run and a hit.

On the mound, Ryan Hegel pitched 3.1 innings with three strikeouts. Hunter Eisele impressed in relief, throwing 2.2 scoreless innings while allowing no hits, no runs, no walks, and striking out three.

Despite the losses, the Raiders showed resilience and key individual performances as they continue to build momentum early in the season.
