Raiders Earn Academic Honors for Spring Quarter

Pierce College Athletics is proud to recognize and congratulate its student-athletes on an outstanding 2025-26 Spring Quarter in the classroom. With a renewed emphasis on academic success, Raider Athletics posted an overall department GPA of 2.97. Men's basketball posted the overall top GPA for the 2025-26 school year with a GPA of 3.10, followed by men's baseball 3.05, and women's basketball 3.02. 

 

This achievement reflects the dedication, discipline, and commitment to learning demonstrated by Pierce student-athletes while balancing the demands of competition and academics. Their hard work continues to raise the standard for excellence both on and off the field.

Several programs posted impressive team GPAs during the quarter, including men’s soccer, which led the way with a 3.32 GPA, followed by women's soccer at 3.07, and women's basketball at 3.01.

Pierce College Athletics also extends its appreciation to the coaching staffs across all programs for their continued support of student-athlete education. Their leadership and emphasis on academic accountability play a vital role in creating an environment where student-athletes can thrive.

Raider Athletics remains committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes and celebrating success in the classroom as a cornerstone of the collegiate experience.
